NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum is hiring the Head of Non-Appropriated Fund Accounting Manager in the Morale and Welfare Branch. This Branch provides and coordinates welfare and recreational facilities and activities for JFCBS community and supported elements. Main duties:
Please note that this is a full time Local Wage Rate (LWR) position, 38 working hours per week. The gross monthly starting salary is EUR 4545, 16 (subject to taxes); maximum gross monthly salary in this grade is EUR 6237, 14. In addition to the salary there is monthly 8% (of the monthly gross salary) holiday allowance, an additional end of year payment (current amount is a 1 month salary) and participation in a pension plan (currently ABP).

Main duties:
- Serve as the Non Appropriated Fund (NAF) Resource Manager.
- Serve as the NAF Custodian.
- Manage the JFCBS NAF Budget
- Provide advice with regard to all economic and financial aspects in the interest of the optimal functioning of the NAF organization.
- Preparing/implementing financial and economic policies with respect to all NAF organizations.
- Good English language skills – both oral and written.
- Completed vocational training in accounting, finance, management, business administration, public administration or relevant field / discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in a financial management function.
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience preparing financial statements.
- Good Dutch language skills
